Role description
At Diverge Health we are passionate about improving health access and outcomes for those most in need. We partner with primary care providers to improve the engagement and management of their Medicaid patients, offering independent practices with specialized resources and clinical programs to close gaps in care. Our teams work to address medical, social and behavioral patient needs, lowering healthcare costs and improving patient lives. Guided by our core values of humility, continuous learning and feeling the weight, our team is on a mission to strengthen communities from within, unlocking people's ability to live their healthiest lives.
We are looking for a Market Operations Associate to join our growing team! The Market Operations Associate partners with Central Operations, Market Presidents, and local Network Development and Practice Liaison team members to facilitate the collection of practice contract documents, provider rosters, and other practice information. They collaborate with stakeholders to ensure this information is accurate, standardized, and accessible across our systems, enabling effective decision-making and market growth.
What You’ll Do
As a pivotal part of the team, you will support the smooth operation of local market and practice-facing workstreams. Reporting to the Manager of Market Operations, you’ll help maintain and scale accurate data and systems, resolve issues related to internal processes, and coordinate with Diverge’s centralized functions to ensure local market teams are equipped and supported.
Key Areas You’ll Add Value
• Partner with Market Presidents, Network Development, and Practice Liaisons to collect and manage practice contract documents, provider rosters, and other practice information.
• Ensure accuracy and standardization of collected information in Salesforce, SharePoint, and other network systems.
• Maintain critical market records including master rosters, referral trackers, payer submissions, and practice credentialing details.
• Support Practice Liaisons with reconciliations, administrative tasks, and upkeep of user guides.
• Jointly with the Manager of Market Operations, track and report local market KPIs to leadership and identify gaps or issues in data integrity.
• Collaborate with the Manager of Market Operations, Technology, and other teams to resolve system issues, streamline workflows, and drive automation.
• Facilitate collaboration across functions to ensure market teams have the tools and support they need.
• Support rollout workgroups, distribute market maps, and summarize updates for leadership and field teams.
What You Bring
• 2+ years’ experience in a corporate setting preferably at a start-up or quickly growing organization
• 2–5 years of experience in an operational role preferred
• Bachelor’s degree in business, communications, healthcare administration or relevant industry
• Advanced Excel skills; proficiency with Salesforce or similar CRM tools; familiarity with Microsoft 365 and data visualization platforms (PowerBI, Tableau a plus)
• Skilled at managing large datasets with accuracy and attention to detail
• Comfortable interpreting data trends and producing clear, actionable summaries
• Able to manage recurring processes alongside ad hoc requests
• Basic project management skills; able to plan, track, and deliver work on time
• Familiarity with healthcare systems, payer/provider dynamics, and primary care operations preferred
Personal Characteristics
• A collaborative team player who works seamlessly across functions and levels of seniority.
• Service-oriented, reliable, and proactive in supporting stakeholders.
• Comfortable managing senior stakeholders, navigating disagreements in priorities, and persistently following up for deliverables.
• Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to juggle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Curious, process-minded, and motivated by operational efficiency.
• Resilient, flexible, and comfortable with ambiguity.
• Solutions-driven and able to spot risks early and take practical steps to keep work on track.
• Humble, conscientious, and a strong representative of Diverge Health’s mission and values.
This is a full-time, exempt, salaried position. Commensurate on candidate experience, the expected base salary range for this role is $80k-95k.
