As a Market Risk Technology Business Analyst, you will be part of the Market Risk Technology department supporting the Global Market Risk and Analytics teams. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, excellent communication abilities, and a collaborative mindset, which will align successfully in the organization. Job Title: Market Risk Technology Business Analyst Location: Jersey City, NJ Pay Range: $73.68/hr W2 What's the Job? • Own and manage work streams in collaboration with business and technology stakeholders to address complex business problems. • Partner with global teams such as GMFR, GRA, and MRM to gather and translate business requirements into effective technology solutions. • Design and propose innovative solutions, including cost estimation and participation in budget approval processes. • Develop prototypes using Python, SQL, and Excel/VBA to demonstrate solutions and facilitate stakeholder understanding. • Analyze large datasets utilizing distributed computing platforms like Hadoop to identify trends and insights. What's Needed? • Experience in Market Risk, Risk, or Front Office roles with strong product knowledge of financial markets. • Solid understanding of regulatory frameworks such as Basel and FRTB. • Proficiency in technical tools including SQL, Excel, VBA, and Python. • Strong analytical and quantitative skills with the ability to validate large volumes of data. • Experience working within Agile SDLC methodologies and managing project lifecycles effectively.
