Role description
Digital Marketing Analyst – EMEA Platforms, Devices & AI Subscription Products
Location: London (Hybrid: Tue–Thu in office, Mon/Fri remote)
Duration: ASAP until December 4, 2026
Salary: £54.81 per hour
Team: EMEA Regional Marketing Team
Contract Type: Temporary / Contractor
Role Overview
Our client is seeking an experienced Digital Marketing Analyst to join their 7-person EMEA Marketing team supporting consumer devices, hardware platforms, and next-generation AI subscription products.
In this role, you will serve as the team’s dedicated data and insights expert. While focused on practical marketing analytics rather than deep data science, you will be responsible for turning large volumes of multi-channel media data into actionable targeting and audience intelligence. You will translate complex performance metrics into clear, non-technical recommendations that shape marketing strategy across paid search, programmatic, social, and alternative digital ad channels.
Key Responsibilities
• Campaign Measurement & Performance: Track, analyse, and report on digital campaign performance across Paid Search, Programmatic, Social channels, and alternative ad platforms (e.g., Apple News) to measure performance against key product benchmarks.
• Audience Targeting & Intelligence: Access and manipulate search trends and behavioral datasets to identify high-value customer segments inclined to adopt consumer hardware and digital subscription services.
• Dashboarding & Reporting: Build, maintain, and streamline clean, accessible dashboards and spreadsheets to automate weekly performance tracking across media metrics (CPM, CPC, CPA, ROAS, conversions).
• Cross-Functional Communication: Act as the primary bridge between raw numbers and marketing strategy—presenting data-driven insights and actionable recommendations in plain language to non-analyst teammates and stakeholders.
• Statistical Analysis: Apply statistical fundamentals (averages, medians, variance, and trend analysis) to evaluate campaign ROI, run post-campaign evaluations, and ensure reporting accuracy.
• Media Operations & Strategy: Utilize a deep understanding of digital advertising vocabulary, charging structures, and ad platform tools to optimize bidding, targeting, and media efficiency.
Minimum Qualifications
• Experience: Sufficient years of hands-on experience in digital marketing analytics, performance marketing, or media insights.
• Digital Media Expertise: Strong practical knowledge of Search Engine Marketing (SEM), programmatic platforms, social ad environments, and digital advertising charging models.
• Data Manipulation: Proven ability to handle, clean, and analyze large datasets using spreadsheets (Excel/Google Sheets) and dashboard creation tools.
• Communication: Exceptional ability to distill complex analytical findings into simple, actionable stories for non-technical marketing peers.
Preferred Qualifications
• Prior experience analyzing campaigns for B2C subscription services, software/AI applications, or consumer hardware products.
• Basic familiarity with scripting or database tools (e.g., SQL or Python) to extract and format marketing data.
• Experience with large amounts of data
• Strong background in multi-touch attribution and cross-channel campaign evaluation.
