Role description
McKinley Marketing Partners' retail client as a need for a Marketing Data Analyst for a long-term contract opportunity.
This position is in Irving and will require to be onsite four days a week; this is a 12 month W2 contract.
Responsibilities:
β’ Extract data and perform analysis using Excel and Tableau
β’ Serve as an advisor to a segment of the business to translate a complex business data
β’ Provide quantitative performance analysis support for all marketing initiatives through commercial and retail sales programs
β’ Generate data analysis reports to maximize sales and profitability as well as be responsible for sharing basic recommendations on products through data analysis
β’ Provide strategic insight on data trends and anomalies, making recommendations where appropriate
β’ Manage projects plans based on the department goals and initiatives.
β’ Build out the data into executive presentations citing the data source
β’ Work alongside the merchandising and category teams
β’ Acquire data from primary or secondary data sources and maintain databases
Requirements
β’ 3+ yearsβ experience in marketing data analysis for a CPG or retail company
β’ Bachelorβs degree in statistics, economics, business, marketing or similar
β’ Comfortable working between the technology and business worlds
β’ Solid written and verbal communication skills
