Role description
Position: Marketing Intelligence Analyst Duration: Up to a 2-year contract Location: Atlanta, GA Shift: 9am-5pm Hybrid (4 days in office, 1 day remote – possibility to come in on remote days if needed) Summary: Insight Global is looking for a Marketing Intelligence Analyst in Atlanta, GA. The Marketing Intelligence Analyst serves as a critical driver of a client’s marketing strategy and execution, transforming marketing data into actionable insights and predictive models that inform smarter, faster go-to-market decisions. This role will not only produce and interpret marketing reporting but also partner closely with marketing leaders to shape campaign strategy, forecast performance, and optimize future initiatives. You will play a pivotal role in supporting the marketing team’s strategic roadmap, using AI and data-driven intelligence to scale campaigns, enhance personalization, improve targeting and messaging effectiveness, and deliver measurable business impact across the funnel. Must Haves: β€’ Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Data Analytics, Information Systems, or related field. β€’ 2+ years of experience in marketing analytics, marketing intelligence, business intelligence, or data analysis supporting marketing organizations β€’ Strong proficiency with Power BI, including dashboard development, data modeling, report creation, and DAX β€’ Solid SQL skills with experience querying, transforming, and analyzing large datasets β€’ Experience analyzing and reporting on marketing campaign performance across digital channels such as Google Ads (PMAX, Display, Paid Search), social media platforms (Meta, TikTok, Reddit), website analytics, video platforms, and email campaigns β€’ Experience translating campaign performance data into actionable recommendations related to targeting, budget allocation, channel optimization, audience engagement, and conversion improvement β€’ Understanding of marketing KPIs including ROAS, CTR, CPC, conversion rate, lead generation, customer acquisition, engagement, and campaign attribution β€’ Experience analyzing audience/persona data to evaluate targeted campaign effectiveness and identify optimization opportunities β€’ Experience conducting A/B testing analysis and making data-driven recommendations on where to invest, scale, or reduce marketing spend β€’ Experience working with marketing data sources, CRM platforms, customer engagement data, and campaign reporting tools β€’ Experience with ETL processes and integrating structured and unstructured data from multiple sources β€’ Ability to work with APIs and integrate external partner or marketing platform data into internal reporting environments β€’ Experience with predictive analytics, forecasting, or advanced modeling to support marketing strategy and campaign planning Plusses: β€’ Experience with cloud data platforms such as Azure, Databricks, or similar. β€’ Proficiency in Python, R, or similar tools for predictive analytics, automation, and data modeling. β€’ Familiarity with marketing platforms such as HubSpot, marketing automation, CRM, or product/content data systems. β€’ Knowledge of data governance, security, and best practices for handling marketing and partner-provided data. β€’ Experience in cross-functional roles bridging marketing strategy, analytics, and IT/data engineering teams. Job Responsibilities: β€’ Design, develop, and maintain marketing-focused dashboards using Power BI to provide real-time insights across campaigns, audiences/personas, content, and communication channels. β€’ Analyze historical and current marketing performance data to identify trends, opportunities, and key drivers related to campaign effectiveness, audience engagement, and conversion. β€’ Develop and apply predictive models to forecast campaign outcomes, optimize channel mix, timing, budget/spend, targeting, and support data-informed marketing planning and prioritization. β€’ Support AI-driven marketing planning and initiatives, including multi-product campaigns, persona enrichment, precision engagement, experimentation, and performance testing. β€’ Translate complex datasets and predictive analytics into clear, actionable recommendations for marketing leadership and team members, enabling decisions around messaging, spend allocation, and campaign design. β€’ Collaborate closely with marketing, IT, and data engineering teams to integrate internal and external data sources, ensuring a unified, accurate view of marketing performance and customer behavior. β€’ Develop and enforce processes to ensure accuracy, completeness, and consistency of marketing and sales datasets used for campaign reporting and optimization. β€’ Contribute to the company’s data governance framework by defining and maintaining marketing-specific KPIs, metrics, and business rules aligned to campaign and go-to-market objectives. β€’ Evaluate and optimize marketing-owned data systems (e.g., Salsify, HubSpot, and related platforms), ensuring data is structured and maintained in ways that support effective marketing execution, insights, and predictive modeling. β€’ Assist in operationalizing AI across campaign planning, budgeting, media modeling, forecasting, and closed loop learning systems to continuously improve marketing performance. β€’ Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of AI-powered marketing initiatives, iteratively refining models, assumptions, and dashboards to maximize business and marketing impact. β€’ Stay current with emerging marketing analytics tools, predictive modeling techniques, and AI applications relevant to modern marketing and go-to-market teams. $25/hr to $27.61/hr. Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.
