Position Summary:
The Master Data Analyst is responsible for ensuring the accuracy, consistency, and governance of master data within the organization's ERP system. This role supports key business functions such as finance, supply chain, procurement, and manufacturing by maintaining and optimizing data processes. The Analyst collaborates with cross-functional teams to improve data workflows, troubleshoot system issues, and ensure master data aligns with business objectives.
Core Responsibilities:
• Create, update, and maintain master data records in the ERP system (e.g., SAP, Epicor, Salesforce).
• Perform routine checks to ensure the accuracy, completeness, and consistency of master data across all ERP modules, including customer, supplier, material, and financial data.
• Execute data cleansing and validation processes to maintain high-quality data.
• Ensure proper documentation for master data changes, processes, and governance policies.
• Support the implementation and enforcement of data governance policies within the ERP system.
• Conduct regular audits of ERP master data to identify and resolve discrepancies or errors.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to define and maintain data standards, naming conventions, and business rules for master data elements.
• Identify inefficiencies in ERP system workflows and propose solutions for improvement.
• Troubleshoot data-related issues within the ERP system and resolve them in collaboration with IT and other stakeholders.
• Contribute to ERP system upgrades, migrations, and implementations by ensuring master data readiness.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams, including finance, operations, IT, and supply chain, to ensure master data meets business needs.
• Act as the primary contact for ERP master data inquiries, providing guidance and support to stakeholders.
• Assist in training end-users on ERP data processes, workflows, and tools to ensure proper usage.
• Generate reports and dashboards from the ERP system to monitor master data quality and performance.
• Analyze ERP master data to identify trends, inefficiencies, or opportunities for improvement.
• Provide data-driven insights to stakeholders to support strategic decision-making and operational effectiveness.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Data Analytics, Business Administration, or a related field. (minimum required)
