Role description
Role Overview The client is engaging truData to provide experienced nearshore Master Data Engineering support to accelerate the cleanup, remediation, and quality improvement of Item Master Data. This role is focused on immediate executionβ€”addressing data quality gaps, missing elements, and inconsistencies across the master data environment. The engineer will work closely with client IT and data stakeholders to assess current-state data quality, define what β€œgood” looks like, and execute remediation activities using existing master data and data quality tools. Key Responsibilities β€’ Analyze master data to identify: β€’ Missing or incomplete attributes β€’ Duplicate and inconsistent records β€’ Data integrity and usability issues β€’ Define and execute data quality and completeness checks β€’ Support the establishment of clear data quality standards and definitions β€’ Address high-priority, time-sensitive data issues impacting business operations β€’ Execute remediation tasks and defined priorities β€’ Document findings, fixes, and recommendations for ongoing improvement Required Skills & Experience β€’ Strong experience in Master Data Management within enterprise IT environments β€’ Hands-on experience with Item Master Data β€’ Solid understanding of data quality dimensions: β€’ Accuracy β€’ Completeness β€’ Consistency β€’ Validity β€’ Experience working with data quality, profiling, and remediation tools β€’ Strong SQL and/or data manipulation skills β€’ Ability to operate independently and accelerate delivery β€’ Experience working as part of a nearshore delivery model About truData Headquartered in San Diego, CA truData is a technology services provider and a data-oriented company specializing in data and analytics and integration offerings delivered through cloud solutions.
