Role description
Position Overview We are seeking a detail-oriented and governance-driven Master Data Governance Analyst to support the creation, maintenance, and integrity of product and finished goods data across multiple systems. This role is critical to ensuring data accuracy, consistency, and compliance across integrated enterprise platforms. The ideal candidate brings hands-on experience in Master Data Management (MDM) with a strong focus on product and finished goods data governance, combined with a proactive mindset to challenge inconsistencies and uphold data quality standards. Key Responsibilities β€’ Manage product master data creation and maintenance, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and consistency β€’ Support finished goods setup and lifecycle management within ERP systems β€’ Enforce data governance policies, standards, and procedures across systems and business processes β€’ Validate data accuracy across multiple integrated systems, ensuring proper data flow and alignment β€’ Identify, question, and resolve data inconsistencies by applying governance logic and business rules β€’ Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders (e.g., business users, IT, data stewards) to ensure proper data usage and adherence to standards β€’ Support data quality initiatives, including cleansing, validation, and continuous improvement efforts β€’ Contribute to documentation, governance processes, and standard operating procedures related to master data Required Qualifications Master Data Expertise (Top Priority) β€’ 3+ years of hands-on experience in Master Data Management, with a focus on: β€’ Product master data β€’ Finished goods data management β€’ Data creation, maintenance, and governance β€’ Strong understanding of the master data lifecycle, including creation, validation, and ongoing maintenance Governance Mindset β€’ Demonstrated ability to challenge inaccurate or incomplete requests β€’ Strong understanding of data governance principles, compliance, and business rules β€’ Ability to interpret and apply the β€œwhy” behind data standards rather than simply executing transactions ERP System Experience β€’ Experience working within ERP systems, ideally: β€’ Oracle (preferred) β€’ SAP (acceptable alternative) β€’ Familiarity with how product and master data flows across enterprise systems Attention to Detail & Execution β€’ Highly detail-oriented with a strong focus on data accuracy and integrity β€’ Process-driven with strong organizational skills β€’ Comfortable owning and maintaining high-quality data standards Preferred Qualifications β€’ Experience in pharmaceutical or highly regulated industries, including: β€’ Controlled product environments β€’ Regulatory compliance and governance frameworks β€’ Exposure to serialization-related data (preferred) β€’ Experience working with consumer products or product-based organizations β€’ Exposure to data validation, integration, or cross-system reconciliation processes Key Traits for Success β€’ Strong analytical and problem-solving mindset β€’ Ability to work cross-functionally and communicate effectively with both technical and business stakeholders β€’ Proactive, accountable, and comfortable operating in a data ownership role β€’ Continuous improvement mindset with a focus on data quality and governance COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS β€’ Hourly contract rate range of $40.00 to $48.00 based on experience and qualifications, as well as geographical market and business considerations.
