Senior Master Data Strategy Analyst – Contract to Hire Boston, MA (Onsite preferred – Financial District) Please note: • US Citizens or Green Card holders only • No third-party or agency candidates We’re hiring a Senior Master Data Strategy Associate to join a small, high-impact data team supporting a business stakeholder group within a global financial services environment. This is a contract-to-hire opportunity and a great fit for someone who can operate independently, partner closely with the business, and help mature master data practices across the organization. What You’ll Do • Serve as the primary MDM partner to a business stakeholder group (acting as your internal “client”) • Lead and execute master data initiatives across multiple data domains • Own program management aspects of MDM work: prioritization, initiative tracking, and delivery planning • Build and enforce data governance standards, rules, and best practices • Work hands-on with data integrations, field-to-field mappings, and data quality rules • Run bi-weekly stakeholder meetings, clearly communicating status, risks, and next steps • Develop and manage a communication strategy around master data changes and governance • Partner closely with a small internal team What We’re Looking For • Senior-level experience in Master Data Management or Data Governance (no hand-holding required) • Strong understanding of: • Master data strategy • Data governance frameworks • Integrations and data mappings • Data rules, stewardship, and quality controls • Proven ability to work directly with business users and leadership • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills • Program or project management experience within data initiatives • Comfortable navigating ambiguity and setting structure where none exists Technical Skills (Nice to Have) • Strong SQL knowledge • Experience with Power BI is a plus • Familiarity with MDM or data pipeline tools (e.g., Prophecy) is a bonus, not required
