Role description
Master Data Specialist - SOAR Initiative Edwardsville, IL MUST LIVE IN THE GREATER ST. LOUIS, MO AREA Job Description We are seeking a dedicated Master Data Specialist to join our governance team. The primary focus of this role is to support Master Data initiatives as we prepare for an ERP implementation. This position is mostly remote, but candidates must be local to the St. Louis or Illinois area to work on-site at least one day every other week. Responsibilities โ€ข Collaborate closely with the Quality Manager to receive and verify BOM (Bill of Material) details. โ€ข Ensure data completeness and accuracy by consolidating part numbers across various plants. โ€ข Utilize Excel for data extraction and transformation into readable formats for company systems. โ€ข Identify and resolve inconsistencies in Master Data to support centralized data management. Essential Skills โ€ข Proficiency with SAP Business Partner (BP). โ€ข Intermediate Excel skills, including pivot tables and lookups. โ€ข Comfortable working with large data sets and numerical data. โ€ข Ability to navigate ambiguity and work independently. Additional Skills & Qualifications โ€ข Bachelor's degree is a plus. โ€ข Experience in a manufacturing environment is beneficial. Work Environment This role is primarily remote, requiring local residency in the St. Louis or Illinois area for bi-weekly on-site work. Post-contract, this position may transition to full-time, with an expectation of five days a week in the Edwardsville, IL office. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Edwardsville, IL. Pay And Benefits The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $30.00/hr.
