Matillion Developer (AWS/GCP)
Location: Secaucus, NJ (Onsite)
Duration: 6 Months
Overview
We are seeking a Matillion Developer with strong cloud data engineering experience across AWS or GCP. This role focuses on building, optimizing, and maintaining ETL/ELT pipelines in a fast-paced data environment. Immediate priority requirement.
Responsibilities
• Develop, enhance, and maintain ETL/ELT workflows using Matillion
• Work with cloud-native services on AWS or GCP for data ingestion, transformation, and storage
• Optimize pipeline performance, reliability, and scalability
• Collaborate with data engineers, architects, and analysts to support business data needs
• Troubleshoot pipeline failures and ensure data quality across systems
• Support release management and production deployments
Must-Have Skills
• Hands-on experience with Matillion ETL
• Strong understanding of AWS or GCP cloud services (S3, Redshift, BigQuery, Lambda, Cloud Functions, etc.)
• Expertise in designing and maintaining data pipelines and orchestration flows
• Proficiency in SQL and working with structured/semi-structured data
• Experience in data warehousing concepts and cloud data architectures
• Strong debugging and optimization skills
Nice-to-Have Skills
• Python for automation and custom transformations
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines for data engineering
• • Knowledge of Terraform, CloudFormation, or equivalent IaC tools
