MDM Data Consultant

Key Skills: Master Data Management (MDM), Azure Data Modelling, Semarchy, Wealth/Asset Management About the Role We are seeking a hands-on, business-focused MDM Consultant to lead the design and delivery of a Client Master Data Management (MDM) solution supporting both Institutional and Wealth Management channels. This role focuses on managing data about organizations and associated contacts, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and strategic data alignment across systems. The ideal candidate combines deep technical MDM expertise with strong domain knowledge in Wealth/Asset Management, and thrives in a collaborative environment driving innovation and long-term value. Key Responsibilities • Lead the end-to-end implementation of Client Master MDM solutions across institutional and wealth management business lines. • Partner with data stewards, product owners, and business stakeholders to define and enforce MDM standards, data governance, and stewardship processes. • Analyze and model master data to identify trends, gaps, and opportunities for improving business decision-making. • Provide expert guidance on MDM best practices, frameworks, and data quality management strategies. • Design and build data pipelines in Azure using ADF, DBT, FiveTran, and Snowflake, ensuring scalability, performance, and reliability. • Maintain and enhance Semarchy MDM environments (or similar platforms such as Informatica, Reltio, TIBCO EBX, etc.). • Collaborate with technology teams to align MDM with enterprise data architecture and cloud data strategies. • Provide strategic leadership and mentoring to junior engineers and data stewards. Qualifications & Experience • 10–15 years of experience in Data Management, Data Architecture, or MDM Consulting. • Deep understanding of MDM principles, architectures, and governance frameworks. • Hands-on operational experience working with data stewards, business users, and product owners. • Proficiency in Semarchy MDM (preferred) or equivalent enterprise MDM tools. • Strong experience with Azure Data Factory (ADF), DBT, FiveTran, Snowflake, and data modeling. • Solid background with market and reference data in Capital Markets or Investment/Wealth Management contexts. • Proven ability to manage cross-functional teams and align business and technical objectives. • Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills.
