Role description
Weβre looking for an experienced Meter Data Management (MDM) Developer with strong expertise in Oracle Utilities MDM or Siemens EnergyIP. The ideal candidate will design, configure, and optimize MDM solutions to enable secure, reliable, and efficient management of utility meter and consumption data.
Youβll work closely with business and technical teams to build integrations across CIS, billing, AMI/AMR, and analytics platforms within a large-scale utility transformation program.
βοΈ Key Responsibilities:
β’ Develop and configure MDM workflows for meter data ingestion, validation, and processing.
β’ Implement and optimize VEE (Validation, Estimation, Editing) rules.
β’ Integrate MDM with CIS/Billing, AMI/AMR, and analytics systems.
β’ Write custom logic using SQL / PL-SQL / Java.
β’ Support testing, production migration, and post-implementation stabilization.
π― Required Skills & Experience:
β’ 5+ years as an MDM Developer / Technical Consultant.
β’ Hands-on with Oracle Utilities MDM or Siemens EnergyIP (mandatory).
β’ Strong SQL / PL-SQL and Java skills.
β’ Experience with SOAP/REST APIs, middleware, and ETL tools.
β’ Deep understanding of meter data flows and VEE processes.
β’ Utility industry experience (Electric, Gas, or Water).
Preferred:
β’ Experience in cloud-hosted MDM (AWS, Azure, or OCI).
β’ Prior work on CIS/MDM implementation projects.
