Role description
Job Title: Mobile Device Management (MDM) Engineer
Duration: Up to 12 months contract with highly possible extension.
Locations: Alpharetta, GA (Onsite work)
Pay Rate: $60/hr.-$65/hr. (Depends on experience). The pay rate may differ depending on your skills, education, experience, and other qualifications.

Skills/Experience
Key Responsibilities:
• Consult, design, and document modifications to the MDM environment.
• Assess hardware, software, and resource requirements for implementing and upgrading MDM environments in line with current and anticipated needs.
• Administer Change Management processes effectively.
• Provide technical guidance and support to internal departments as needed.
• Act as a technical liaison with vendors regarding MDM environment support matters.
• Demonstrate proficiency with multiple MDM platforms, particularly Intune and Omnissa (WorkspaceOne / AirWatch).
• Oversee management of peripherals, such as WiFi and Bluetooth-enabled devices, utilizing the Zebra PPME console.
• Maintain office presence as required, typically between two and five days per week.
• Adapt to flexible scheduling, including overnight and early morning deployments.
Qualifications
Education/Experience:
• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems Management (or other related technology degree) or equivalent field experience.
• Five plus (5+) years’ experience of enterprise-level Mobile Device Management of industry standard Operating Systems (Google Android and Apple iOS)
• Three plus (3+) developing / implementing / supporting an enterprise environment to include software deployment, server design / buildout / upgrade / migration, and system integration
Preferred Qualifications
• Expertise in the following technologies: “rugged” and “consumer” mobile computing technology, mobile device operating systems (i.e. Apple iOS, Google Android, etc.)
• Expertise in MDM solutions Omnissa (Formerly known as WorkspaceOne/Airwatch) Intune, Soti, etc.
• Excellent oral, written and presentation skills. Technical documentation is a requirement of the position.
• Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships at all levels internally and throughout customer organizations. Extensive knowledge of mobile equipment design, mobile solutions architecture, and mobile device management platforms.
• Self-motivated with the ability to work with minimal supervision.
• Strong ability to analyze and resolve problems quickly and efficiently.
• Ability to meet tight deadlines, work within a stated budget and deliver a quality solution.
• Powershell/sql scripting/Javascript/dev language skills would be a plus.
