Mechanical Engineer

About the Role We’re seeking a Mechanical Test Engineer who thrives on solving complex problems through hands-on testing, data analysis, and collaboration. In this role, you’ll be directly involved in validating and verifying mechanical systems — ensuring quality, reliability, and performance in every product tested. What You’ll Do Plan, conduct, and analyze validation and verification tests for mechanical systems and components. Manage data quality by performing rigorous reviews, troubleshooting issues, and ensuring accurate reporting. Conduct Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (FMEA) to identify potential design or process risks. Apply 7-Step Problem Solving techniques to resolve test-related issues and recommend improvements. Perform data analysis and process capability studies to evaluate performance metrics. Collaborate with design, manufacturing, and quality teams to interpret results and provide engineering insight. Utilize MATLAB and related tools for test automation, data processing, and results visualization. Support continuous improvement by documenting best practices and implementing feedback from testing activities. Communicate technical findings clearly through reports and presentations to engineering stakeholders. What You Bring Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering (required). 2–4 years of hands-on experience in testing, validation, and data analysis within an engineering environment. Proven understanding of verification/validation testing, FMEA, and process capability. Strong analytical mindset with proficiency in MATLAB and engineering data interpretation. Familiarity with engineering drawings, CAD models, and schematics. Excellent verbal and written communication skills — able to translate complex data into actionable insights. A proactive, detail-oriented, and collaborative approach to problem-solving. Bonus: Experience with coding or programming (Python, C++, or similar).
