Job Title: MERN Lead Location: Morristown, NJ Job Description: • Experience is Defining system architecture and technical roadmap for MERN based solutions. • Design solutions and lead conversations for design approvals. • Lead development teams and mentor engineers. • Ensure code quality security and performance standards. • Conduct code reviews and enforce best practices. • Collaborate with stakeholders on solution design. • Drive CICD DevOps integration and release planning. • Identify risks and propose mitigation strategies. • Well versed in using AI tools like GitHub Copilot. • Drive GitHub Copilot adoption with prompting standards and best practices. • Use AI code analysis to map technical debt and guide refactoring. • Automate PR summaries with Copilot to reduce senior engineers review effort. • technical authority for full stack delivery Design solutions. • drive best practices and mentor development teams. • Follow and enforce Agile delivery methodology. • Experience leading onshore offshore teams. Primary Skills • Expert level proficiency in MERN Stack Reactjs Nodejs MongoDB Nest JS • Microservices API design patterns • Database expertise MongoDB Postgres Oracle • CICD pipelines • GitHub Actions Jenkins • JavaScript ES6 including TypeScript • Authentication security JWT OAuth OWASP • AWS architecture and deployment Secondary skills • Insurance Domain Knowledge • Experience in Angular • Experience managing geographically distributed teams • Use Copilot ChatAI to assess architecture tradeoffs and create ADRs • Add AI security scanning to CICD gates • Generate IaC TerraformCDK from architecture diagrams using AI • Enable LLM search across codebases to speed onboarding and KT • Strong analytical problem solving and risk management skills We are an Equal Opportunity Employer.
