Description:
We are seeking a highly technical Microsoft 365 Teams Engineer with expertise in enterprise collaboration platforms, Microsoft 365 tenant migrations, and M&A integration projects. This role involves administering Microsoft Teams, Microsoft Teams Rooms, Zoom, and Webex, while designing and engineering scalable collaboration solutions across the Office 365 ecosystem. The successful candidate will leverage PowerShell automation, Entra directory services, and Intune/Endpoint Manager to ensure security, compliance, and operational excellence in an SLA-driven environment.
Responsibilities:
Microsoft Teams & Office 365 Administration
- Design, configure, and manage Microsoft Teams policies, governance, lifecycle, and compliance settings.
- Administer Teams in alignment with Exchange Online, SharePoint, and OneDrive integrations.
- Ensure 24/7 platform reliability with 99.99% uptime service commitment.
Microsoft Teams Rooms (MTR)
- Deploy and support Teams Rooms hardware in collaboration spaces, maintaining availability target.
- Implement firmware, Teams Rooms management, and MTR monitoring standards.
- Enable Direct Guest Join integrations with Zoom and Webex.
Diagnostics & Root Cause Analysis
- Use advanced tools such as Fiddler, Wireshark, CQD, and Teams logs for troubleshooting.
- Resolve high-severity incidents under strict SLA.
- Deliver root cause analysis (RCA) reports within 5 business days of incident closure.
- Partner with Microsoft and vendors for escalated issue resolution.
Cross-Platform Collaboration Engineering
- Manage and integrate Zoom and Webex services with Microsoft Teams.
- Guarantee meeting reliability and interoperability.
- Support hybrid collaboration solutions across diverse platforms.
Automation & Engineering
- Leverage PowerShell scripting to automate Teams administration, tenant migrations, policy enforcement, and reporting.
- Engineer enterprise-grade O365 collaboration solutions in coordination with IT architects, aligned with business requirements.
- Maintain technical documentation, solution design, and operational runbooks.
Tenant Migration & M&A Activities
- Lead Microsoft 365 tenant-to-tenant migrations during M&A, divestitures, or restructuring.
- Engineer coexistence strategies, identity integrations, and domain consolidations.
- Minimize disruption to collaboration services with proven migration success.
- Partner with IT security, legal, and compliance teams to ensure adherence to organizational and regulatory policies.
Azure, Intune & Security
- Integrate Microsoft Teams and O365 services with Azure Entra for access, identity, and security governance.
- Implement and manage policies in Microsoft Intune (Endpoint Manager) for device compliance, conditional access, and mobile collaboration security.
- Apply Zero Trust and best practice security models for Teams and O365 collaboration platforms.
- Coordinate with security teams to respond to threats, incidents, and ensure compliance posture.
Requirements:
- 5+ years of Microsoft Teams and Microsoft 365 administration experience.
- Advanced PowerShell scripting skills for automation and large-scale administration.
- Strong working knowledge of Entra Active Directory, conditional access, and role-based access control.
- Experience configuring and managing Microsoft Intune/Endpoint Manager.
- Advanced troubleshooting skills with tools like Fiddler, Wireshark, and Microsoft CQD.
- Expertise in collaboration security, governance, and compliance policies.
- Microsoft certifications such as MS-700 (Teams Administrator Associate) and MS-720 (Teams Voice Engineer Expert) highly preferred.
- Knowledge of SIP, VoIP, SBC configurations, and enterprise call flows is required.
