Microsoft Fabric Analytics Engineer

Data Architecture & Engineering • Architect and develop scalable Microsoft Fabric data solutions including OneLake, Lakehouses, Data Warehouses, and Real-Time Analytics. • Design and implement robust medallion architecture (Bronze/Silver/Gold) for ingestion, transformation, and consumption. • Build and optimize ETL/ELT pipelines using Data Factory in Fabric, Spark notebooks, Eventstreams, and Pipelines. • Develop high-performance Dimensional/Star Schema and analytics-ready semantic models. Analytics Engineering • Build curated semantic models using Power BI in Fabric and DirectLake. • Create reusable data marts, data transformations, DAX measures, and BI-ready data structures. • Partner with Analysts and product teams to enable self‑service analytics at scale. Data Quality, Governance & Operations • Implement data quality rules, observability, and monitoring frameworks. • Define and enforce governance standards including lineage, cataloging, access control, and security using Purview integration. • Optimize storage, compute, and performance across Fabric workloads. • Support CI/CD, DevOps, and deployment automation for Fabric artifacts. Collaboration & Leadership • Lead technical design sessions and mentor junior engineers. • Work with stakeholders to translate business needs into scalable data solutions. • Advocate best practices for cloud data engineering and Microsoft Fabric adoption.
