Microsoft Fabric / Azure Data Architect Design end-to-end data architecture using Microsoft Fabric (Lakehouse, Data Warehouse, Data Pipelines) Define and lead migration strategy from SAP BusinessObjects to Power BI Build and oversee data pipelines and integration with source systems Implement data security, governance, and compliance (GDPR aligned) Ensure performance optimisation and scalability of the platform Work closely with stakeholders, developers, and business teams Support testing, validation, and go-live activities Provide technical leadership and guidance to the delivery team Required Skills & Experience: 8+ years in Data Architecture / Data Engineering Strong experience with Microsoft Fabric, Azure Data Services, and Power BI Proven experience in data migration (legacy to cloud) Strong SQL and data modelling skills Knowledge of data governance and security Preferred: Experience with SAP BusinessObjects Microsoft Certifications (DP-600, PL-300) Public sector project experience Key Skills: Solution architecture Data pipelines (ETL/ELT) Stakeholder communication Problem-solving Summary: We are looking for a senior architect who can lead a complex data migration and deliver a modern analytics platform using Microsoft Fabric.
