Role description
Job Title: Microsoft Fabric Technical Lead
Location: Dallas, TX
Key Responsibilities
• Lead the solutioning, design, and implementation of end-to-end Microsoft Fabric data and analytics solutions.
• Drive modernization and migration initiatives from legacy data platforms, ETL tools, and data warehouses to Microsoft Fabric.
• Define scalable implementation approaches, best practices, standards, and reusable patterns for Fabric adoption.
• Provide technical leadership across data ingestion, transformation, storage, semantic modeling, analytics, and reporting components.
• Work closely with business stakeholders, architects, product owners, and engineering teams to translate requirements into scalable solutions.
• Lead solution reviews, technical roadmaps, estimation, and delivery planning activities.
• Guide teams in implementing Lakehouse, Data Warehouse, Medallion Architecture, Real-Time Analytics, and enterprise reporting solutions.
• Ensure solutions meet performance, scalability, security, governance, and operational requirements.
• Drive engineering excellence through code reviews, mentoring, DevOps adoption, and implementation best practices.
• Remain hands-on in critical design decisions, troubleshooting, optimization, and key implementation activities.
Required Qualifications
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 12+ years of experience in Data Engineering, Data Warehousing, Analytics, and Cloud Data Platforms.
• 5+ years of experience with Azure Data Platform technologies.
• 3+ years of hands-on experience implementing Microsoft Fabric solutions.
• Proven experience delivering end-to-end enterprise data platform implementations from ingestion through analytics and reporting.
• Strong experience leading modernization and migration programs from legacy/on-premises data platforms to Microsoft Fabric.
• Strong understanding of enterprise data architecture, data engineering best practices, governance, and performance optimization.
• Experience leading distributed delivery teams and collaborating with business and technology stakeholders.
• Demonstrated ability to combine technical leadership with hands-on execution.
