Role description
Job Title: MicroStrategy Developer
Location: Onsite at Katy, TX
Duration: Long term contract
Key Responsibilities:
Note: This is a very active role, open for H1B transfers, and requires onsite work in Katy, TX (5 days a week).
Additional Information:
We’re looking for an experienced MicroStrategy Developer who can design, develop, and optimize BI solutions to support business reporting and analytics. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience in MicroStrategy development, dashboard creation, and SQL-based data modeling.
Key Responsibilities:
• Design and develop interactive dashboards, reports, and visualizations in MicroStrategy
• Work closely with business users to translate requirements into effective BI solutions
• Optimize existing reports and dashboards for performance and scalability
• Integrate data from multiple sources and ensure data accuracy and consistency
• Support deployment, testing, and troubleshooting of BI applications
Required Skills:
• 5+ years of experience with MicroStrategy development
• Strong proficiency in SQL and relational databases (Oracle, SQL Server, etc.)
• Experience with data modeling, ETL concepts, and report optimization
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced onsite environment
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
Nice to Have:
• Experience in performance tuning and advanced analytics
• Exposure to cloud data platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
