Responsibilities
Kforce has a client in West Palm Beach, FL that is seeking a Mid-Level Business Analyst with a strong background in electrical engineering to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess advanced proficiency in Excel, exceptional data analysis skills, and a knack for time management and organizational tools. Key Responsibilities:
β’ Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, finance, and operations, to identify business needs and develop data-driven solutions
β’ Analyze and interpret complex data sets related to energy production, distribution, and consumption
β’ Utilize advanced Excel techniques (e.g., pivot tables, VLOOKUP, macros) for data manipulation, analysis, and visualization
β’ Develop and maintain comprehensive reports, dashboards, and presentations to communicate findings and recommendations to stakeholders
β’ Conduct root cause analysis to identify issues and opportunities for process optimization and cost reduction
β’ Design and implement data models and analytical frameworks to support strategic decision-making
β’ Use time management and organizational tools like MS Project, Jira, or Trello to manage project timelines, track progress, and ensure deadlines are met
β’ Ensure data integrity, accuracy, and consistency across all analyses and reports
β’ Provide technical support and training to team members on data analysis tools and techniques
β’ Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies to continually enhance analytical capabilities
Requirements
β’ Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Business Administration, or a related fieldl; A Master's degree is a plus
β’ Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a business analyst role, preferably within the energy sector
β’ Strong electrical engineering background with a deep understanding of energy systems and processes
β’ Proficient in advanced Excel functions including pivot tables, VLOOKUP, macros, and data visualization
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
