Job Summary
The Middle Office Business Analyst will support multiple regulatory and operational initiatives within Operations, focusing primarily on middle office processes tied to derivatives, swaps, options, and regulatory compliance. This role requires a highly independent, confident BA who can drive delivery, manage stakeholder relationships, and move initiatives forward in a fast-paced, highly regulated environment. The role is more functional than technical, with a strong emphasis on execution, planning, and ownership of project outcomes.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities
• Gather and document business requirements through stakeholder interviews and working sessions
• Translate business needs into clear user stories, acceptance criteria, and functional documentation
• Track project delivery and progress using Jira
• Drive initiatives forward through planning, coordination, and execution support
• Support regulatory and compliance-driven projects (FINRA, swaps, options, middle office operations)
• Partner with operations, product, collateral, and capital markets stakeholders
• Ensure alignment between business needs and delivery outcomes
• Support UAT and testing processes as needed (not test-heavy role)
• Manage communication, timelines, and project organization across initiatives
