Role description
• 8+ years of experience designing, developing, testing, and supporting HL7 interfaces using Mirth Connect
• Strong hands-on expertise with HL7 V2.x/V3.x message types (ADT, ORU) and healthcare data exchange workflows
• Experience managing Mirth Connect servers, including configuration, upgrades, clustering, performance tuning, and security remediation
• Knowledge of healthcare interoperability standards: CCD, CDA, LOINC, ICD-9/10, SNOMED, HIPAA compliance
• Experience with real-time interfaces (TCP/IP, VPN) and batch integrations (FTP/SFTP) plus inbound feed monitoring
• Hands-on experience with REST/SOAP web services, APIs, two-way SSL integrations, and database querying (Oracle, SQL Server)
• Experience supporting QA/UAT validation, HL7 message testing, production stabilization, and technical documentation in enterprise healthcare environments
