Role description
must be GC or Citizen 6+ month contract to hire 3 days a week onsite in Newtown Square PA- open for someone to relocate Our Greater Philadelphia area client is looking for a Mirth Developer for a permanent role by way of contract-to-hire. Position Description • Build and support healthcare data interfaces using Mirth Connect • Work with HL7 messages (ADT, SIU) and other healthcare data formats • Work with CCDs in XML format • Troubleshoot, monitor, and enhance real‑time and batch data feeds • Support upgrades, performance tuning, and high‑availability environments • Collaborate with QA and business teams to validate data and workflows • Document processes and maintain reliable, secure integrations Required Skills • Strong JavaScript skills (used heavily in Mirth scripting) • Solid SQL experience (Oracle or SQL Server) • Hands‑on experience with HL7 V2.x/V3.x • Experience with XML, CCD, CDA • Understanding of HIPAA and healthcare data standards • Experience with making web services and API calls within Mirth Connect • Clear communication and ability to walk through technical reasoning Bonus Skills • Experience managing Mirth Connect clusters • Knowledge of certificates and two-way SSL protocol • Knowledge of LOINC, ICD‑9/10, SNOMED • Performance tuning and security remediation in integration environments • Writing test cases (unit, integration, UAT) • Experience supporting production stabilization and high‑availability systems
