Role description
A global lifestyle brand is seeking a skilled Data Engineer to join its CIX team. This team is responsible for leveraging consumer insights and predictive analytics to deliver personalised experiences across all brands and channels. The role will focus on enabling scalable machine learning solutions and supporting data-driven decision-making to enhance product relevance and customer engagement.
Responsibilities
• Lead the design and implementation of a production-ready ML environment in collaboration with IT and data science teams.
• Define best practices for model deployment, monitoring, and governance.
• Build and optimise data pipelines using Snowflake and Snowpark to support ML workflows.
• Support the migration of existing models into the new environment, identifying and resolving blockers.
• Champion MLOps principles across the team, mentoring others and fostering a culture of excellence.
• Ensure compliance with data governance, privacy, and security.
Requirements
• Strong proficiency in Python, SQL, data modelling, and data warehouse architecture
• Hands-on experience with Snowflake and Snowpark
• Desired experience with ML pipelines including training, evaluation, and deployment
• Desired experience with MLflow or similar MLOps frameworks
