Role description
Role: MS Power Platform Developer Location: Raleigh, NC (Onsite - Local Candidates Only) Note: Only candidates currently located in the Raleigh, NC area will be considered due to onsite requirements. Summary Experienced Microsoft Power Platform Developer responsible for designing, developing, and implementing enterprise-grade applications and automation solutions using Microsoft Power Platform. Supports public health operations by streamlining business processes through Power Apps, Power Automate, Dataverse, and integrations with enterprise systems. Required Skills (Must Have) • 7+ years Microsoft Power Platform development experience • Strong experience with Power Apps (Canvas Apps, Model-Driven Apps) • Expertise in Power Virtual Agents and Dataverse • 7+ years experience with SQL Server and relational database design • Strong SQL development and data integration skills • Experience integrating Power Platform with Microsoft 365 and external systems • Strong understanding of REST APIs and data integration techniques • Strong troubleshooting and performance optimization skills • Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities • Strong verbal and written communication skills • Ability to work independently and in a team environment • Strong time management and task prioritization skills Preferred Skills • Power BI experience • Power Pages experience • Power Automate Desktop / RPA experience • Azure DevOps or GitHub CI/CD experience Education • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field Certification (Preferred) • Microsoft Certified: Power Platform Developer Associate (PL-400) or higher Responsibilities • Develop and deploy Power Apps solutions (Canvas & Model-Driven) • Build and manage workflows using Power Automate • Design and maintain Dataverse data models, tables, relationships, and business rules • Integrate Power Platform solutions with SQL Server, Azure services, Microsoft 365, REST APIs, and third-party systems • Develop custom connectors and enterprise application components • Troubleshoot application issues, workflow failures, and performance bottlenecks • Gather requirements from business users and translate into technical solutions • Maintain documentation including design specs, architecture diagrams, and user guides • Ensure compliance with security standards, DLP policies, and governance requirements • Follow ALM best practices and environment strategy guidelines
