Power Platform Developer - Raleigh, NC (Onsite) Duration : 13 months with possible extension Only qualified Power Platform Developer candidates located in the Raleigh, NC area will be considered, as this position requires an onsite presence. Required Education • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field Preferred Certification • Microsoft Certified: Power Platform Developer Associate Required Skills & Experience • 7+ years of experience in Microsoft Power Platform development and implementation • 7+ years of hands-on experience with Power Apps, Power Pages, and Dataverse • 7+ years of experience with SQL database design and structure • Strong verbal and written communication skills • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities with strong attention to detail • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team environment • Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively Position Overview The client is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Microsoft Power Platform Developer to join the team. This role will be responsible for designing and developing an innovative centralized solution for data collection, management, and reporting using the Microsoft Power Platform ecosystem, including Power Apps, Power Pages, and Dataverse. The ideal candidate will possess strong expertise in data architecture, system integration, and scalable application development. This position will focus on building user-friendly solutions that support both internal staff and external stakeholders, while enhancing the overall user experience, automating authentication and verification processes, and delivering end-user training. Key Responsibilities • Design and develop scalable applications using Microsoft Power Apps, including Canvas Apps, Power Pages, and Model-Driven Apps • Build and configure secure, intuitive portals for both internal and external users using Power Pages and/or Canvas Apps • Develop and maintain data models within Microsoft Dataverse to support structured public health data collection • Write, optimize, and maintain SQL queries, stored procedures, and database structures to support reporting and system integrations • Implement role-based access control and security best practices for internal and external users • Perform application testing, debugging, troubleshooting, and performance optimization • Create and maintain technical documentation, including system architecture, data models, and business processes • Develop and implement a SQL database connector within Dataverse to enable Power Apps to query a local SQL database • Automate cross-check validation between authenticated portal users and the SQL database to verify user matches and securely share limited user-specific information Interview Process • Webcam Interview • In-Person Interview
