Role description
Position Title: MuleSoft Architect/Developer Location: Remote Visa: Only USC We are seeking a highly skilled Certified MuleSoft Architect/Developer to design, develop, and implement enterprise-grade integration solutions using the MuleSoft Any point Platform. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on development experience, architectural expertise, and the ability to work in secure, regulated environments. Key Responsibilities: Architecture & Design • Design scalable, secure, and reusable integration architectures using MuleSoft Any point Platform • Define API-led connectivity approaches (System, Process, and Experience APIs) • Create technical architecture documents, solution designs, and integration standards • Ensure compliance with security, performance, and governance best practices Development • Develop Mule applications using Mule 4, Data Weave 2.x, and Any point Studio • Build and maintain REST/SOAP APIs, batch jobs, and event-driven integrations • Integrate with databases, SaaS applications, legacy systems, and cloud platforms • Implement error handling, logging, retry mechanisms, and performance tuning Platform & DevOps • Configure and manage Cloud Hub / Runtime Fabric • Set up CI/CD pipelines for Mule applications • Monitor applications using Any point Monitoring and logging tools • Support deployments across lower and production environments Leadership & Collaboration • Provide technical leadership and guidance to development teams • Participate in design reviews, code reviews, and architecture discussions • Work closely with business analysts, QA teams, and stakeholders • Support production issues and provide root cause analysis Required Qualifications: • U.S. Citizen (mandatory) • MuleSoft Certification (at least one required): • MuleSoft Certified Developer – Level 1 or 2 • MuleSoft Certified Integration Architect (preferred) • 5+ years of integration experience • 3+ years of hands-on MuleSoft development experience • Strong experience with API-led connectivity • Proficiency in Data Weave, REST APIs, JSON, XML, and RAML • Experience with OAuth 2.0, TLS, certificates, and API security • Strong understanding of SOA, microservices, and integration patterns Preferred Qualifications: • MuleSoft Certified Integration Architect • Experience working with government or regulated clients • Experience with AWS / Azure / GCP • Knowledge of messaging systems (Kafka, JMS, ActiveMQ) • Experience with relational and NoSQL databases • Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies
