• dEnsure uptime, performance, resiliency, and data protectio
• nMonitor systems; prevent, detect, and resolve issues proactivel
• yManage backups, recovery, upgrades, and migrations with minimal disruptio
• nOptimize queries, schemas, and indexing for efficiency at scal
• eSupport high-availability and replication architecture
• sEnforce access control, encryption, and audit readines
• sPartner with engineering on schema design, ETL, and data workflow
• sContribute to capacity planning and infrastructure decision

Required Skill
• s5+ years production database administration (large-scale datasets
• )Strong SQL (complex queries, procedures, indexing, partitioning
• )Deep knowledge of storage engines, transactions, and concurrenc
• yExperience with replication, clustering, and failover strategie
• sBackup/recovery expertise and disaster recovery executio
• nPerformance tuning (query analysis, configuration optimization
• )Familiarity with monitoring/alerting tools and metrics (latency, uptime
• )Scripting for automation (e.g., Python, Bash
