Database Analyst Primary Location: Raleigh, North Carolina V-Soft Consulting is currently hiring for a Database Analyst for our premier client in Raleigh, North Carolina. Education And Experience » • Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, Finance, Business Analytics, or a related field. A Master’s degree is a plus. • 3+ years of experience in data analysis, preferably in government, auditing, or financial sectors. • Proficiency in SQL, Python, R, or other programming languages for data analysis. • Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or similar. • Knowledge of auditing principles, governmental accounting, or financial regulations is preferred. • Familiarity with machine learning, data mining or predictive analytics is a plus. • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to communicate complex data insights clearly. • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. • Excellent attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to meet deadlines. What You’ll Do Job Responsibilities: • Collect, clean, and analyze large datasets from various state government agencies. • Develop data models, dashboards, and visualizations to support audit findings and reports. • Identify trends, anomalies, and patterns in financial and operational data. • Collaborate with audit teams to provide data-driven insights • Assist in the automation of data analysis and reporting processes. • Present findings and recommendations to internal and external stakeholders. • Ensure data integrity, security, and compliance with state and federal regulations. • Contribute to the development of predictive models and risk assessments to detect fraud, waste, and inefficiencies in government programs.
