Need Only Local to North Carolina - Python Developer

Key Responsibilities: • Develop and maintain data migration scripts, ETL pipelines, and automation workflows using Python • Design, build, and optimize data models for reporting and analytics • Create interactive dashboards, reports, and analytics solutions using Power BI • Perform data extraction, transformation, validation, and loading between databases, APIs, and enterprise systems • Optimize data processes for speed, reliability, and scalability • Work with SQL queries, stored procedures, and database objects to support migration and reporting • Integrate data from multiple sources, including cloud apps, on premises systems, and flat files • Collaborate with business teams to define reporting needs and translate them into technical solutions • Analyze data quality issues, reconcile datasets, and implement best practices for data integrity • Implement automation for recurring data tasks and reporting workflows • Maintain documentation for data processes, source mappings, and migration steps • Participate in architecture, design, and planning sessions for data modernization projects Required Skills & Experience: • Strong hands on experience with Python • Proficiency with Power BI • Experience designing and executing data migration or data conversion projects • Strong SQL skills and experience working with relational databases (SQL Server, PostgreSQL, Oracle, MySQL, Ingres) • Understanding of data governance, security, and compliance requirements • Strong troubleshooting ability and attention to detail Preferred Qualifications: • Experience with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, or GCP) • Experience with Java development • Experience with version control (Git/Subversion) and CI/CD pipelines • Knowledge of Power BI administration, workspaces, gateways, and deployment strategies • Experience with large-scale migration or modernization initiatives
