Role description
Role - Data Engineer – Apache NiFi
Location - Remote
Key Responsibilities:
• Design, build, and maintain real-time and batch ETL/ELT pipelines using Apache NiFi.
• Develop custom NiFi processors, scripts, and automation tools for complex data transformations.
• Optimize NiFi data flows for performance, reliability, and throughput.
• Integrate multiple data sources, APIs, and streaming platforms while ensuring security and compliance.
• Troubleshoot and resolve production issues in the NiFi environment.
Required Skills:
• Strong experience with Apache NiFi and data flow management.
• Proficient in Java; Python experience is a plus.
• Knowledge of ETL/ELT, SQL, and big data technologies (Kafka, Spark, Hadoop).
• Familiarity with Linux, cloud platforms (AWS/Azure), and containerization (Docker/Kubernetes).
