Role description
We are looking for a highly hands-on Senior Nintex K2 Developer with strong experience building, enhancing, and supporting enterprise workflow solutions integrated with SharePoint environments. This role requires deep technical expertise in workflow development, form design, and system integrations.
Required Technical Skills
• 8+ years of overall IT experience
• 4+ years of hands-on experience with Nintex K2
• Strong experience integrating K2 with Microsoft SharePoint (Online and/or On-Prem)
• Hands-on development of:
• K2 Workflows
• SmartForms
• SmartObjects
• Custom business rules
• Experience creating and managing:
• SharePoint lists, libraries, content types
• Event receivers and workflow triggers
• Experience integrating K2 with:
• SQL databases
• REST/SOAP APIs
• Active Directory
• Email services
• Strong SQL querying and database troubleshooting skills
• Experience debugging production workflow failures
• Knowledge of .NET / C# is a plus
Responsibilities
• Design and build complex, multi-step workflows using K2
• Develop SmartForms with validation, conditional logic, and dynamic controls
• Configure SmartObjects for data integration
• Integrate K2 workflows with SharePoint lists and document libraries
• Implement error handling, logging, and escalation logic
• Troubleshoot and resolve workflow performance and production issues
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to refine automation requirements
• Maintain technical documentation and deployment artifacts
Soft Skills
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment
• Strong ownership mindset
