Nutanix Resident Engineer Location: West Palm Beach, FL (onsite) 120-130K Overview: We are seeking an experienced Nutanix Resident Engineer to support a client engagement in West Palm Beach, FL. This role focuses heavily on AHV and requires strong expertise in migration, post-deployment operations, and ongoing administration within a Nutanix environment. The ideal candidate is hands-on, proactive, and comfortable serving as an embedded technical resource supporting day-to-day operational excellence. Key Responsibilities: • Lead and support migration efforts from VMware ESXi to Nutanix AHV, ensuring smooth transition and minimal impact to production workloads. • Provide post-deployment operations support, including environment validation, monitoring, troubleshooting, and optimization. • Perform post-deployment administration across Nutanix AHV infrastructure, including routine maintenance, updates, and configuration changes. • Act as a trusted technical advisor, collaborating with customer engineering teams to ensure best practices and platform stability. • Document operational processes, runbooks, and recommendations to support long-term success. Requirements • Strong, hands-on experience with Nutanix AHV. • Proven background in ESXi-to-AHV migration projects. • Experience with post-deployment operations and administration in Nutanix environments. • Ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues across compute, storage, and virtualization stacks.
