O365 Migration Engineer

Job Title: O365 Migration Engineer Location: Seattle, WA (Onsite) Duration: 6 months+ Job Description: We are seeking an experienced O365 Migration Engineer to plan, execute, and support the migration of users, mailboxes, and data from on-premises or third-party systems to Microsoft Office 365. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Exchange Online, Active Directory, and various migration tools to ensure a seamless transition with minimal disruption. Key Responsibilities: • Plan, design, and execute end-to-end O365 migration projects (Exchange, SharePoint, OneDrive, Teams). • Perform mailbox, data, and user migrations from on-premises Exchange, Google Workspace, or other platforms. • Configure and manage hybrid Exchange environments. • Troubleshoot and resolve migration issues, mail flow errors, and authentication problems. • Manage user provisioning, licensing, and permissions in Microsoft 365 Admin Center. • Collaborate with IT teams to ensure data integrity, security, and compliance throughout the migration. • Provide post-migration support and documentation. Required Skills & Experience: • 4+ years of experience in Microsoft 365 / Exchange / O365 administration and migrations. • Hands-on experience with Exchange Online, Azure AD, PowerShell scripting, and DNS management. • Experience with migration tools (BitTitan, SkyKick, Quest, or similar). • Strong understanding of mail routing, SPF/DKIM/DMARC, and hybrid configurations. • Excellent troubleshooting and communication skills. Preferred Qualifications: • Microsoft 365 Certified: Messaging Administrator Associate or equivalent. • Experience with Intune, Teams, and SharePoint migrations.
