Role description
We are hiring a skilled Oracle Banking Payments (OBPM) Developer to support the design, enhancement, and deployment of banking payment solutions. The candidate will play a key role in delivering high-quality technical solutions within the Oracle Flexcube/OBPM ecosystem. Strong banking domain knowledge along with expertise in Java and PL/SQL is essential.
Primary Responsibilities
β’ Build and enhance payment processing solutions within the Oracle Banking Payments (OBPM) platform.
β’ Analyze business requirements and translate them into scalable technical designs.
β’ Perform customization and configuration of OBPM modules as per project needs.
β’ Identify and fix system defects, ensuring application stability and efficiency.
β’ Coordinate with QA, infrastructure, and functional teams for successful system implementation.
β’ Support system integrations between OBPM and other core banking applications.
β’ Handle application support, patching, and system upgrades.
Required Qualifications & Skills
β’ Bachelorβs degree in Computer Science, IT, or related discipline.
β’ Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience with Oracle Flexcube / OBPM in a banking environment.
β’ Strong knowledge of banking operations including payment processing (real-time & batch), account management, banking products, and liquidity functions.
β’ Proficient in Java, SQL, and PL/SQL development.
β’ Experience working on system integrations and API-based connectivity within banking systems.
β’ Understanding of regulatory standards and compliance in financial institutions.
β’ Strong analytical thinking and issue-resolution skills.
β’ Effective communication and collaboration abilities.
