Role description

Title: ODM Developer Location: 100% Remote Duration: 12 Months Required Skills β€’ 8+ years experience in developing, deploying, and managing business rules, decision tables, and rule flows. β€’ Proven expertise in implementing and optimizing business rules using IBM ODM β€’ Advanced experience integrating rule engines within Java-based enterprise applications, leveraging Spring, REST APIs, and modern frameworks. β€’ Strong understanding of decision modeling (DMN) and rule authoring best practices to ensure scalability, maintainability, and performance. β€’ Skilled in testing, debugging, and tuning rule executions across multiple environments. β€’ Experience with Git, Maven, Jenkins, or similar tools for version control, build automation, and CI/CD processes. β€’ Ability to collaborate with analysts, architects, and developers to align business rules with organizational policies and technical architectures. β€’ Prior experience supporting a State Medicaid/Eligibility project Responsibilities: β€’ Design, develop, and implement business rules and decision services using IBM ODM or other BRMS tools. β€’ Work closely with business analysts and stakeholders to translate requirements into executable decision logic. β€’ Develop, test, and deploy decision artifacts, ruleflows, and data models to support enterprise systems. β€’ Integrate ODM solutions with Java applications, APIs, and databases to enable real-time decision processing. β€’ Perform unit testing, regression testing, and validation of business rules to ensure accuracy and performance. β€’ Maintain and optimize rule repositories, ensuring compliance with governance and version control standards.
