Role description
A leading international bank are seeking a highly skilled O365 Engineer to join the team on a contract basis. You will play a pivotal role in the modernisation, integration, and consolidation of messaging, collaboration, and e-Discovery platforms via Microsoft O365 technology. You will provide SME and specialist engineering support across for O365.
Key Responsibilities
• Deliver O365 services through technical delivery and systems administration, ensuring high availability and disaster recovery.
• Create and manage a stable, secure O365 platform aligned with SLA requirements.
• Provide 2nd and 3rd line support for Exchange and MS Teams telephony integration.
• Deliver and maintain Microsoft Teams video and voice across BYOD and corporate desktops.
• Support O365 voice recording migrations in line with project requirements.
• Investigate and resolve complex O365 service issues, ensuring root cause analysis and resolution.
• Maintain and update technical documentation, SOPs, and operational procedures.
• Manage O365 product lifecycle and contribute to roadmaps supporting Messaging and Collaboration strategy.
• Install, test, and patch new versions of system software.
Key Skills & Experience:
• Must have 3rd line Office 365 engineering experience
• Exchange
• Must have vast experience working in a financial service environment
• MS Teams (video and voice)
• Microsoft Intune / MDM.
• AD / ADFS / Federation Services / Hybrid Services.
• PowerShell scripting, automation, and orchestration.
• Experience supporting large-scale messaging environments (20,000+ users desirable).
