Job Description: Omni-Channel QA Engineer Role: Omni-Channel Quality Assurance Engineer Location: Remote (EST/CST Preferred) Visa: H1 OK | EAD Not Accepted About the Role We are looking for a highly experienced Omni-Channel QA Engineer with strong digital banking knowledge and hands-on testing experience across web, mobile, and backend systems. The ideal candidate will understand how various banking channels integrate and synchronize to deliver a seamless customer experience. This role requires strong analytical skills, end-to-end workflow validation, and the ability to test multi-channel user journeys. Key Responsibilities • Design, develop, and execute test cases, test scenarios, and test plans for Omni-channel digital banking applications. • Perform functional, regression, integration, system, and end-to-end testing. • Validate and ensure cross-channel consistency across: • Web banking • Mobile banking • ATM • Branch systems • IVR • SMS/Email alerts • Test authentication flows such as MFA, OTP, and SSO. • Conduct API testing using Postman, Swagger, or SoapUI. • Validate backend data using SQL queries for transactions, customer profiles, and logs. • Participate in Agile ceremonies and collaborate closely with developers, BAs, and Product Owners. • Identify, document, and track defects using JIRA, ALM, Zephyr, or similar tools. • Ensure seamless integration between frontend, middleware, and backend systems. • Assist in test automation initiatives (Selenium, Cypress, Appium – nice to have). Required Skills & Experience • 5–8+ years of total QA experience. • 3+ years specifically in Omni-channel or digital banking QA. • Strong hands-on experience testing: • Online/mobile banking • Payments & funds transfer • Bill pay • Card management • User onboarding • Deep understanding of cross-channel workflows and synchronization. • Strong API testing skills (REST/SOAP). • Proficiency in SQL for backend validation. • Experience working with Agile/Scrum environments. • Excellent communication, documentation, and problem-solving skills.
