Role description
Job Description:
• Should be cognizant of the OMS paradigms including Inventory Management, Inventory publish, supply feed processing, control mechanisms, ATP publish, Order Orchestration, workflow set up and customizations, integrations with tax, AVS, payment engines, sourcing algorithms and managing reservations with back orders, schedule mechanisms, flash sales management etc.
• Should have worked in enterprise grade platforms serving multiple omni channel use cases for customers including but not limited to workflows like Ship To Home, Ship From Store, BOPIS, SDD, Return In Store etc.
• Should have a decent End to End knowledge of various Commerce subsystems which include Storefront, Core Commerce back end, Post Purchase processing, OMS, Store / Warehouse Management processes, Supply Chain and Logistic processes. This is to ascertain candidates knowhow on the overall Retail landscape of any customer.
• Minimum of 4-6 years of hands-on experience with Microsoft .NET/C# in design and development. Recommending folks with good e-commerce domain knowledge bundled together.
• Develop, enhance, and maintain the OMS stack developed using Microsoft based technologies including .NET, C#, ASPX and dependent legacy components.
• Good extensive knowledge on Microservice based event driven architecture with a cloud provider (preferably AWS)
• Any additional knowledge on OMS and Store domains will be additional advantage.
• Experience in Service Oriented Architecture - Developing/securely exposing/consuming Web Services – RESTful and integrating headless applications.
• Good knowledge on API concepts, technologies such as REST, JSON, GraphQL and Swagger
• Should be able to understand system end-end, maintain application and troubleshoot issues.
• Good understanding of Data Structures and Entity models.
• Should have understanding of building, deploying and maintaining server based as well as serverless applications on cloud, preferably AWS.
• Expertise in integrating synchronously and asynchronously with third party web services.
• Good to have concrete knowledge of AWS Lambda functions, API Gateway, AWS
• CloudWatch, SQS, SNS, Event bridge, Kinesis, Secret Manager, S3 storage, server architectural models etc.
• Knowledge on any major eCommerce / OMS platforms will have added advantage.
• Minimum of 2-4 years of experience in Oracle or other relational DB programming especially with experience in Query optimizations, Report creations etc.
• Must have a working knowledge of Production Application Support.
• Good knowledge of Agile methodology, CI/CD pipelines, code repo and branching strategies preferably with GitHub or Bitbucket.
• Good knowledge of observability tools like NewRelic , DataDog, Graphana, Splunk etc. with knowledge on configuring new reports, proactive alert settings, monitoring KPIs etc.
• Should have a fairly good understanding of L3 support processes, roles and responsibilities.
• Should work closely with counterparts in L1/L2 teams to monitor, analyze and expedite issue resolutions, reduce stereotypes, automate SOPs or find avenues for the same by being proactive.
• Should be flexible to work with overlap with some part of offshore (IST) hours to hand off / transition work for the day to the offshore counterpart for L3.
