Job SummaryThe Business Analyst - Hyland OnBase Migration will play a key role in an Enterprise Content Management (ECM) modernization initiative that transitions a complex SharePoint 2016 environment to Hyland OnBase. The role requires deep experience in requirements analysis, data mapping, and content governance, ensuring a seamless and compliant migration that enhances usability and efficiency for end users. The analyst will collaborate closely with stakeholders, architects, and technical teams to deliver a secure, well-structured ECM solution.Key Responsibilities
• Conduct requirements-gathering sessions to capture workflows, retention rules, content hierarchies, and integration needs.
• Perform detailed content assessment and mapping from SharePoint 2016, including permissions, metadata, and workflows.
• Analyze current and future-state processes to transition users to metadata-driven classification and search.
• Develop user stories, business requirement documents (BRDs), process maps, and acceptance criteria aligned to OnBase functionality.
• Collaborate with ECM architects and developers to deliver compliant and secure solutions.
• Support migration planning, including data cleansing, quality assurance, and remediation.
• Facilitate User Acceptance Testing (UAT) with test planning, scripting, and sign-off management.
• Participate in taxonomy and metadata governance to ensure standardization and compliance.
• Support change adoption through stakeholder engagement and training content contributions.
Required Experience
• Proven experience as a Business Analyst supporting ECM solutions, preferably Hyland OnBase.
• Hands-on experience migrating content from SharePoint 2016, including workflows and customizations.
• Strong understanding of data governance, retention management, and compliance.
• Background in regulated environments such as Banking or Financial Services.
• Excellent communication and facilitation skills for cross-functional collaboration.
Nice-to-Have Experience
• Familiarity with OnBase Unity Client and modules such as Workflow, WorkView, or Document Imaging.
• Experience with integrations to Salesforce, nCino, or core banking platforms.
• Exposure to structured data migration tools and methodologies.
