ONSITE ROLE: Azure Cloud Engineer in San Diego, CA

PAY: $60-65/hour W2. Our company offers our consultants a suite of benefits after a qualification period including health, vision, dental, life and disability insurance. This is a contract to hire role; W2 Candidates only, 1099/C2C NOT POSSIBLE This is a fully onsite role in San Diego, CA; there is no option for hybrid or remote work. Key Responsibilities: • Design, deploy, and manage cloud infrastructure on Azure, ensuring high availability, scalability, and security. • Utilize Azure DevOps for CI/CD pipeline creation, automation, and management. • Implement and manage container orchestration using Azure Kubernetes Services (AKS). • Develop and maintain Helm Charts for application deployment and management. • Use Terraform for infrastructure as code (IaC) to automate the provisioning and management of cloud resources. • Configure and manage Azure Virtual Networks (vNet) and other cloud networking components. • Monitor and optimize cloud infrastructure performance, cost, and security. • Collaborate with development teams to ensure seamless integration and deployment of applications. • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to cloud infrastructure and services. • Stay current with industry trends and best practices in cloud computing and DevOps. Qualifications: • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field. • Proven experience as a Cloud Platform Engineer or similar role. • Strong expertise in Azure cloud services and infrastructure. • Proficiency in Azure DevOps, including CI/CD pipeline creation and management. • Hands-on experience with Azure Kubernetes Services (AKS) and container orchestration. • Knowledge of Helm Charts for Kubernetes application management. • Proficient in at least one scripting language such as Python, Bash, PowerShell. • Extensive experience with Terraform for infrastructure as code (IaC). • In-depth understanding of Azure Virtual Networks (vNet) and cloud networking principles. • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. • Strong communication and collaboration abilities. Preferred Qualifications: • Certifications in Azure (e.g., Azure Solutions Architect, Azure DevOps Engineer). • Experience with other cloud platforms (e.g., AWS). • Familiarity with additional DevOps tools and practices. • Understanding of security best practices in cloud environments.
