Operations Data Analyst

In this role, you will take ownership of the customer's first impression by streamlining the credit intake process, where your precision and expertise directly accelerate the journey from applicant to active partner. Responsibilities • Investigate & Resolve: Analyze and address customer inquiries regarding invoicing, payments, and order discrepancies across multiple internal and external portals. • Data Retrieval & Escalation: Utilize SQL and Salesforce to locate specific data points, trace transaction histories, and properly escalate high-priority issues. • Root-Cause Analysis: Identify systemic trends and underlying process gaps to propose long-term solutions and prevent recurring billing errors. • Reporting & Communication: Clear up customer concerns concisely while regularly reporting findings, metrics, and progress to internal stakeholders. This 6-month contract position in the Smyrna area, and the team is working in the office. Required Skills • 2–3 years of relevant experience investigating, cross-referencing, and synthesizing data across multiple disparate systems. • Hands-on experience with SQL (extracting and manipulating data to tell a cohesive story) • Ability to communicate complex technical or financial findings into clear, concise, and professional explanations for customers and leadership. • Proficient in leveraging the standard Microsoft Office suite (Excel, Word, etc.) for data organization and reporting. • Bachelor's degree Must be authorized to work in the U.S./Sponsorships are not available. • no remote options
