Role description
Systems Analyst – Oracle E-Business Suite (R12.2.10 On-Prem) We are seeking an experienced Systems Analyst to support Oracle E-Business Suite R12.2.10 (on-premise). This role provides functional and limited technical production support for Finance and/or Oracle Projects modules, with a strong focus on issue resolution, data integrity, and customer satisfaction. The ideal candidate is a techno-functional professional who understands end-to-end financial data flows between subledgers and General Ledger and thrives in a customer-facing production support environment. Key Responsibilities β€’ Provide functional and limited technical support for Oracle EBS Finance modules: AR, AP, GL, Cash Management (CM), Fixed Assets (FA), iExpense, iSupplier, and Oracle Projects (Costing, Billing, Accounting). β€’ Troubleshoot system issues, identify root causes, and recommend corrective actions or workarounds. β€’ Distinguish between standard functionality and customizations/extensions. β€’ Use SQL, PL/SQL, and diagnostic scripts to analyze data, generate ad hoc reports, and resolve data integrity issues. β€’ Develop data correction scripts when required. β€’ Conduct conference room pilots (CRPs) and support user acceptance testing (UAT). β€’ Manage change control activities and ensure compliance with SOX requirements (if applicable). β€’ Follow Agile methodologies (SCRUM/Kanban) and established project management practices. β€’ Engage Oracle Support for patch validation and issue resolution. β€’ Document incidents, solutions, and recovery procedures using tools such as Helix. β€’ Travel up to 10% as needed. Daily Production Support Activities β€’ Respond to user-reported system or business process issues via screen share or in-person. β€’ Analyze root causes using SQL and application diagnostics. β€’ Provide workarounds or perform data corrections where necessary. β€’ Develop and test program fixes, coordinate regression testing, and promote code through UAT to production. β€’ Collaborate with business and cross-functional teams to validate solutions and ensure minimal disruption. Required Qualifications β€’ Bachelor’s degree in Accounting (or related field) or 5+ years of relevant industry experience. β€’ 5–7 years supporting Oracle E-Business Suite modules (Finance and/or Projects). β€’ Strong understanding of data flows between subledgers and General Ledger. β€’ 3+ years of experience with SQL and PL/SQL. β€’ Knowledge of EBS data model and architecture (Finance and Projects). β€’ Ability to review programming logic in Workflow, Oracle APEX, and BI Publisher. β€’ Strong communication skills with the ability to articulate system behavior to business users. Preferred Qualifications β€’ 3+ years of Oracle APEX development experience. β€’ Experience in multi-developer team environments. β€’ Familiarity with Agile methodologies (SCRUM, Kanban). β€’ Recent hands-on experience with Oracle R12.2 on-prem (within the past year).
