Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Oracle Business Analyst with strong functional expertise in Oracle Benefits Cloud. The ideal candidate will be responsible for supporting benefits administration processes, configuring Oracle Benefits Cloud modules, improving HR operations, and ensuring accurate and compliant benefits execution within Oracle HCM Cloud. Key Responsibilities
Requirements Gathering & Business Analysis
• Collaborate with HR, Benefits, and IT teams to understand business needs and translate them into functional requirements.
• Analyze current benefits processes and identify opportunities for system optimization.
• Document business requirements, process flows, and functional design specifications.
Oracle Benefits Cloud :
• Support key components of Oracle Benefits Cloud, including plan types, eligibility profiles, enrollment rules, life events, rates, and certifications.
• Maintain annual enrollment (open enrollment), new hire enrollments, and qualifying life events.
• Support configuration of plan communications, notifications, and self-service features.
Implementation & Testing
• Participate in full‐cycle implementation efforts: requirements, design, configuration, testing, deployment, and post‐go‐live support.
• Execute SIT, UAT, regression testing, and drive defect resolution.
• Support migration activities including HDL file loading, data validations, and audit checks.
Functional Support & Issue Resolution
• Provide daily support for benefits operations and troubleshoot configuration or processing issues.
• Assist with employee benefits inquiries, enrollment discrepancies, and system-related issues.
• Ensure compliance with benefit regulations and organizational policies.
Reporting & Integrations
Maintain benefits reports using OTBI, BI Publisher, and HCM Extracts.
• Support integrations with payroll, insurance carriers, and third-party systems.
• Ensure accurate flow of benefits data for vendor file feeds.
Open Enrollment & Yearly Cycles
• Lead annual open enrollment configuration and testing activities.
• Ensure readiness for plan year rollovers, rates updates, and communication releases.
• Coordinate with vendors and stakeholders to ensure accurate data.
Training & Documentation
• Create comprehensive SOPs, configuration documentation, and user training materials.
• Conduct training workshops for HR teams and end-users on Benefits Cloud processes.
Required Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business Administration, Information Systems, or related field.
• 7+ years of hands‐on experience with Oracle Benefits Cloud.
• Strong understanding of benefits administration, compliance rules, plan design, and enrollment processes.
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
Preferred Qualifications
• Oracle Cloud HCM or Benefits Cloud certification(s).
• Experience in large-scale, multi-country, or complex benefit environments.
• Familiarity with vendor file feeds and carrier integrations.
• Knowledge of Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC) is a plus.
Soft Skills
• Strong communication and stakeholder‐management skills.
• Excellent documentation and process‐mapping abilities.
• Detail-oriented, organized, and able to work in fast-paced environments.
