Title: Oracle Cloud Consultant – SQL (W2 Role, USC, GC only)
Location: Dallas, TX
About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled Oracle Cloud Consultant with deep expertise in SQL/PLSQL and hands-on experience across the Oracle Cloud Platform. This role is onsite in Dallas, TX and offers the opportunity to work on enterprise-grade Oracle Cloud implementations, integrations, and customizations. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter with strong problem-solving skills, capable of delivering high-quality solutions in an agile environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Design, develop, and optimize PL/SQL programs, including stored procedures, triggers, functions, and packages.
Implement integrations using Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC) and REST APIs.
Build and extend Oracle Cloud applications using Oracle Visual Builder and other PaaS tools.
Ensure database performance, backup, and recovery best practices are followed.
Collaborate with business and technical teams to gather requirements, design solutions, and implement Oracle Cloud customizations.
Participate in the full software development lifecycle (SDLC) using Agile/Scrum methodologies.
Maintain code versioning using Git or SVN.
Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues in Oracle Cloud environments.
Required Skills & Experience:
Expert-level SQL/PLSQL proficiency with extensive experience in stored procedures, triggers, functions, and packages.
Hands-on experience with Oracle Cloud Platform (PaaS & SaaS), including OIC, Visual Builder, and Autonomous Database.
Strong experience building and consuming REST APIs in Oracle Cloud environments.
Solid understanding of Oracle Cloud SaaS architecture and customization capabilities.
Experience with database performance tuning, backup, and recovery.
Familiarity with Agile development methodologies and SDLC best practices.
Experience with version control systems such as Git or SVN.
Excellent problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
Oracle Cloud certifications (e.g., Oracle Integration Cloud Specialist, Oracle Database Specialist)
Experience with ORDS (Oracle REST Data Services)
Prior experience in large-scale enterprise cloud implementations
