Oracle Data Integrator (ODI) Specialist (Inside IR35, Negotiable Rate) Job Title: Oracle Data Integrator (ODI) Specialist Location: UK (Hybrid – 2–3 days a week on-site, flexible) Contract Type: 6-month contract (Inside IR35) Rate: Negotiable (based on experience) About the Role We’re looking for an experienced Oracle Data Integrator (ODI) Specialist to join a major data integration and analytics programme. You’ll play a key part in designing and implementing complex ETL/ELT pipelines that support data warehousing, reporting, and Oracle Cloud integration across enterprise environments. Key Responsibilities • Design, develop, and implement ODI mappings, interfaces, packages, procedures, and load plans. • Deliver end-to-end data integration – from extraction through transformation and loading into data warehouses, lakes, or cloud systems. • Optimise ODI processes for performance, scalability, and reusability. • Collaborate with data architects and business analysts to translate requirements into robust technical solutions. • Develop and enforce ODI standards, frameworks, and best practices. • Manage ODI administration tasks, including security, topology setup, agent configuration, and patch upgrades. • Perform root cause analysis and resolve data integration or performance issues. • Provide production support for ODI jobs, ensuring reliability and high availability. • Produce clear documentation for designs, data flows, and operational support. Skills & Experience Required • Proven hands-on experience with Oracle Data Integrator (ODI) 11g or 12c (mandatory). • Strong understanding of ETL/ELT concepts, data warehousing, and RDBMS design. • Advanced SQL and PL/SQL skills, including query optimisation and performance tuning. • Proficiency in ODI administration – topology, agents, and security configuration. • Experience integrating ODI with Oracle Cloud ERP/EPM and REST/SOAP APIs. • Familiarity with Oracle Database, GoldenGate, and WebLogic environments. • Strong problem-solving, debugging, and documentation skills. • Excellent communicator, able to collaborate across business and technical teams. • Experience in Agile and Waterfall delivery environments. • Background in Banking, Financial Services, or large-scale ERP/Cloud data integration projects is desirable.
