Oracle Data Integrator (ODI) Specialist (Inside IR35, Negotiable Rate)
Job Title: Oracle Data Integrator (ODI) Specialist
Location: UK (Hybrid β 2β3 days a week on-site, flexible)
Contract Type: 6-month contract (Inside IR35)
Rate: Negotiable (based on experience)
About the Role
Weβre looking for an experienced Oracle Data Integrator (ODI) Specialist to join a major data integration and analytics programme. Youβll play a key part in designing and implementing complex ETL/ELT pipelines that support data warehousing, reporting, and Oracle Cloud integration across enterprise environments.
Key Responsibilities
β’ Design, develop, and implement ODI mappings, interfaces, packages, procedures, and load plans.
β’ Deliver end-to-end data integration β from extraction through transformation and loading into data warehouses, lakes, or cloud systems.
β’ Optimise ODI processes for performance, scalability, and reusability.
β’ Collaborate with data architects and business analysts to translate requirements into robust technical solutions.
β’ Develop and enforce ODI standards, frameworks, and best practices.
β’ Manage ODI administration tasks, including security, topology setup, agent configuration, and patch upgrades.
β’ Perform root cause analysis and resolve data integration or performance issues.
β’ Provide production support for ODI jobs, ensuring reliability and high availability.
β’ Produce clear documentation for designs, data flows, and operational support.
Skills & Experience Required
β’ Proven hands-on experience with Oracle Data Integrator (ODI) 11g or 12c (mandatory).
β’ Strong understanding of ETL/ELT concepts, data warehousing, and RDBMS design.
β’ Advanced SQL and PL/SQL skills, including query optimisation and performance tuning.
β’ Proficiency in ODI administration β topology, agents, and security configuration.
β’ Experience integrating ODI with Oracle Cloud ERP/EPM and REST/SOAP APIs.
β’ Familiarity with Oracle Database, GoldenGate, and WebLogic environments.
β’ Strong problem-solving, debugging, and documentation skills.
β’ Excellent communicator, able to collaborate across business and technical teams.
β’ Experience in Agile and Waterfall delivery environments.
β’ Background in Banking, Financial Services, or large-scale ERP/Cloud data integration projects is desirable.
