Role description
A New York City-based services company is currently seeking a new Oracle Data Integrator (ODI) Developer to design, build, and support enterprise-scale data integration and analytics solutions.
About the Opportunity:
• Schedule: Monday to Friday
• Hours: Standard business
• Setting: Hybrid (3 days a week onsite)
Responsibilities:
• Design, develop, and support Oracle Data Integrator (ODI) ETL solutions and enterprise data pipelines
• Build and maintain data models, mappings, packages, and procedures supporting analytics, reporting, and downstream systems
• Develop and optimize SQL, PL/SQL, and transformation logic to ensure performance, scalability, and data quality
• Support integrations across Oracle databases, cloud platforms, and enterprise applications
• Design and troubleshoot complex database queries and analytics data models
• Lead ODI development efforts for projects of moderate complexity from design through implementation and support
• Produce technical design documentation, data flow diagrams, and implementation artifacts
• Participate in release planning, code migrations, and deployment governance
• Provide production support for ODI integrations, including incident triage, root cause analysis, and remediation.
• Participate in disaster recovery planning and testing
• Support change management and continuous improvement initiatives
• Perform other duties, as needed
Qualifications:
• 3 to 5 years of related work experience
• High School Diploma / GED with Technical certification
• Experience with developing and supporting Oracle Data Integrator (ODI) ETLs
• SQL and Oracle PL/SQL experience
• Experience building and supporting Enterprise Data Models
• Experience supporting complex Reporting and Analytics Datasets
• Experience working with Oracle Analytics Cloud (OAC)
• Strong understanding of ETL architecture, data integration patterns, and performance tuning
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools
• Ability to translate business requirements into technical data solutions
• Strong documentation, communication, and time-management skills
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Desired Skills:
• Associate's, Bachelor's, and/or Master's Degree
• Experience with Oracle RDBMS and/or SQL Server
• Experience with REST API integrations and external data sources
• Experience with Packaged or vendor-based enterprise system implementations
• Experience with Cloud-based or SaaS enterprise applications
• GitHub, Azure DevOps, and ServiceNow experience
• Project Management and/or Business Analysis experience
