Oracle Database Developer

• 10+ years of handson experience as a database developer in Oracle • Strong data analysis, design, and coding skills • Strong RDBMS skills – SQL querying, writing stored procedures, triggers, functions, pipeline functions, views, table partitioning • Knows how to restrict access through roles, user privileges and object privileges • Has done performance tuning of stored procedures and queries. • Has used SQL Loader to load large files. • Has used SQL Plus command. • Knowledge of Oracle AQ messaging. • Has developed Python scripts for data handling. • Comfortable working on Linux servers and writing shell programs. • Experience working with team in Agile methodology • Knowledge of core java is a plus • AWS Cloud experience is a plus • 5+ years work experience in financial industry preferably in Capital markets/Prime brokerage. • Understand glossaries and terminologies in financial industry • Knowledge of accounting concepts is nice to have. • Prime Brokerage application development experience is a plus. • Ability to work independently and collaborate with teams. • Good communication skill to both technology folks and business partners. • Quick learner, adaptable, has the right attitude to work across teams to find and deploy solutions. • Committed to timely and quality deliverables. • Team player
